日本のアザミウマ

Thrips flavus Schrank, 1779

和名:キイロハナアザミウマ

旧北区に広く分布する。日本では北海道、本州、九州、四国に広く分布し、様々な植物の花から最も普通に見られるアザミウマの1つ。ミナミキイロアザミウマに似るが、単眼間刺毛が前方単眼の直後に位置することで識別できる。

This species is widespread in the Palaearctic region. In Japan, it is widely distributed in Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku, and one of the most common thrips collected from the flowers of many kinds of the plants. It is similar to T. palmi but it can be distinguished the later species by the interocellar setae are situated just behind fore ocellus.
